WHAT IS IT?
A social media focused repost app that allowed Instagram users to download, save, and repost Instagram videos and photos. It was the first Instagram repost app. RepostWhiz app was a Top 100 Apple App Store & Google Play Store application totaling in 15 million downloads. The app was preferred amongst users for its ability to easily watermark and credit the source of reposted material, allowing for content recycling, while promoting the original creator of the post.
MY ROLE IN PROJECT
IDEATOR/CONCEPTUALIZER:
- Conceptualized and executed RepostWhiz app.
- Managed app lifecycle, including ideation, creation, marketing, and bug fixes.
- Developed separate iOS and Android versions with new features.
PROJECT MANAGER:
- Efficiently managed developers, designers, and bug fixes.
- Oversaw app updates, advertisements, and in-app purchases.
- Facilitated communication between contractors and QA testers.
MONETIZATION MANAGER:
- Implemented and managed in-app advertisements, custom advertising, and in-app purchases.
- Optimized ad formats and types for revenue maximization.
PRODUCT MANAGER (UX DESIGN & USER FLOW):
- Designed user-friendly interface and intuitive navigation.
- Ensured seamless user experience without detailed manuals.
MARKETING & INFLUENCER COLLABORATION MANAGER:
- Utilized influencer marketing for app awareness.
- Collaborated with influencers for promotion.
- Optimized app store profile for better visibility.
- Leveraged @repostwhiz meme page for marketing and user acquisition.
